Wide oak flooring from sustainable forests

We supply traditional solid oak floorboards in a range of widths and grades suitable for any abode, from cottage to château and anything in between.

All our oak is from managed and replanted European hardwood forests, which makes the flooring an environmental choice.

Hard wearing waxes and oils are the traditional finish, to enhance the wood's natural beauty.

No form of preservative woodworm treatment is necessary.

About Us
Traditional Oak Floorboards
Our oak floorboards have been carefully selected to have an interesting grain structure with knots and character to give warmth to any room.

A choice of grades enables you to complement the individual style of your home, and also gives you flexibility in price:
Formal and contemporary. Few knots, very little colour variation or figure.
Prime Grade
Full of character, natural colours, figuring and knots. A comfortable period feel.
Country Grade
Colour variations, large & small knots, sapwood splits and some planing faults for a look of worn antiquity.
Rustic Grade
All boards are 22mm thick. Widths are available from 150mm (6") to 280mm (11"). These can be laid as mixed or single width floors to suit the style, size and period of the interior.

Board lengths are unusually generous, averaging 2.7 metres and going to a maximum of 4 metres.

All boards have been air-dried then kiln-dried to 10% moisture content, tongued & grooved (centrally, giving a choice of laying face), and planed.

The flooring can be laid successfully over underfloor heating.
Doors and Skirting
We also supply Skirting and Door Kits - by far the least expensive way of producing Oak Ledged Doors.

Doorboards are supplied pencil-beaded, and the ledge or brace boards are chamfered.

All boards are 22mm thick.
